Coleen Rooney flashes smile on pub outing with Wayne as Rebekah Vardy court battle looms

Coleen Rooney was all smiles as she enjoyed a day out at the pub with her husband Wayne.

The WAG and mum-of-four took a trip to The Dirty Duck Alehouse in Holywood, Northern Ireland on Wednesday with the football manager, where they posed for a sweet snap together.

It was shared on the pub's Instagram page - with Coleen being the picture of happiness as she cuddled into a beaming Wayne.

They held onto the "famous fluffy duck" at the Northern Irish eatery.

Coleen looked radiant as she wore a brown vest with jeans, adding hoop earrings for a finishing touch.

Wayne, on the other hand, wore a plain T-shirt and jeans, with a cap.

Their outing comes as Coleen and Rebekah's High Court battle is set to resume tomorrow after the WAGs' attempt to settle their dispute failed.

The preliminary hearing in the libel case is set to commence just hours before England take on Scotland at Wembley in the 2020 Euros.

Coleen is being sued by Rebekah over a tweet posted in October 2019 that accused the wife of footballer Jamie Vardy's Instagram account of leaking stories about her to The Sun.

In the saga dubbed 'Wagatha Christie', Coleen told how she planted fake stories on her Instagram and blocked all followers apart from Becky's account to try and find the leak.

Coleen claimed she saw the false stories appear in the The Sun newspaper and went public on Twitter with her allegations.

Rebekah, who was pregnant at the time, strenuously denied Coleen's claims and said the stress of the tweet made her fear she would miscarry her child.

While the two WAGs' dispute continues, their husbands are still on speaking terms.

Wayne publicly showed his support for Jamie this month when it was revealed the Leicester City star would not be part of the England squad for the Euros.

“One man I wish was in Gareth’s [Southgate’s] squad is Jamie Vardy," he wrote in his Sunday Times column.

"I would have tried absolutely everything to lure him out of retirement for these finals."

Mentioning the two women's feud: "I know some people may be surprised at this, especially with the legal case between my wife and Jamie’s wife, but this is my honest football opinion."
