Coleen Nolan's nasty injury after falling on stairs in NTAs dress

Loose Women panellist Coleen Nolan suffered a fall ahead of the National Television Awards 2020, leaving her with a pulled tendon.

At the start of the show, Brenda Edwards was seen helping Coleen to her chair with her slightly limping.

As she stepped down she appeared in pain, before explaining what had happened.

Brenda had mentioned having sore feet after partying all night at the NTAs, with Coleen quick to remind her she was worse off.

She said: "Don't laugh, I pulled a tendon before I even got on the bus."

"I fell up the stairs here. I'm glad you all find it amusing," she added as the audience laughed.

Revealing no-one believed her, she added: "I actually did, and I kept going, 'No girls, I really fell up the stairs'."

Saira Khan then asked her how it was possible to fall up the stairs and not down.

Coleen responded: "Because my dress was very long and as I took the step, it hit the dress and my foot slipped."

She went on to reveal she fell down, injuring her foot.

It wasn't until she got back to the hotel after leaving the NTAs early that she saw the damage.

She said: "I got back to the hotel while you were all still partying, cos it was alright it just felt a bit bruised.

"I looked down at my ankle and it looked like I'd swallowed a football and it had landed in my ankle.

"I'm thinking, 'I probably should go to A&E' but I couldn't get my dress off, and I wasn't going in a red sequined dress on my own, so I didn't but it's alright."

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12:30pm on ITV.
