Coleen Nolan is hoping her show The All New Monty: Ladies' Night will help to save lives

Singer and TV presenter Coleen and journalist Victoria Derbyshire returned to our screens on Tuesday night to bring together another host of famous ladies who dared to bare to raise awareness of women's cancers.

Coleen was overwhelmed by the reaction to the powerful ITV show, which was hailed as 'emotional and important viewing' because it encourages women watching at home to have regular cervical smears tests and check their breasts.

One woman checked herself during the show and went to see her doctor the following morning after finding a lump.

Speaking from the red carpet at the Pride of Manchester Awards Coleen said: "One woman checked herself during the show last night and found a lump and went to the doctor this morning.

"As it happens it's nothing. But if the show saves just one life then that’s amazing."

The All New Monty saw a group of female celebrities baring all on stage to boost awareness of the importance of early health checks.

In the 90-minute ITV special Coleen and Victoria were joined by tennis icon Martina Navratilova, ex EastEnders star Laurie Brett, Love Island’s Megan Barton-Hanson, So Solid Crew rapper Lisa Maffia, former TOWIE star Danielle Armstrong and Benidorm actress Crissy Rock to lay their bodies and emotions bare -  and each had a personal reason for doing so.

Again the troupe picked the uplifting The Greatest Showman song This Is Me which went down a storm last year.

The second outing of the ladies edition of the show received another outstanding response - with many viewers left in tears .

The idea for The All New Monty: Ladies’ Night was hatched between Ashley and Coleen last year after the dancer appeared on Loose Women to discuss the male version which began in 2017.
