Coleen Nolan interrupts live Loose Women broadcast to get something off her chest

A Loose Women star interrupted her co-host moments into a live broadcast to get something off her chest. Ruth Langford appeared on This Morning to tease fans about what they could expect on the first episode of the week, and some ITV viewers accused her of making a subtle dig at Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.

The cameras started rolling in the Loose Women studio, where Ruth was joined by Coleen Nolan, Brenda Edwards and Kelly Holmes reports Chronicle Live. Moments into the show it appeared to be Kelly's behaviour that Coleen had something to say about, and she stopped Ruth during the broadcast to say: "Before any of that, can I just interject? Look at me with my big words!"

After Ruth gave Coleen her permission to go ahead, Coleen continued: "Can we just acknowledge Dame Kelly Holmes here on my left, who is getting right on my nerves! Because, I'm watching you on social media, you've just won ANOTHER award...it's annoying!"

"You're going to need a new house to put all your awards in!" Whilst the show was ongoing many fans were taking to Twitter to share how 'delighted' they thought Ruth looked during her appearance on This Morning, as she told replacement hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary it was 'nice to see them'.

Ruth also joked she needed the remedy Alison and Dermot had just been talking about on This Morning for under her eyes. This prompted one viewer to tweet: "Ruth has got tired eyes because she’s been up all night celebrating Philip Schofield’s demise."

A second wrote: "Ruth’s looking rather Joyous."
