Coleen Nolan claims she dumped pal who refused Chinese takeaway over coronavirus fears

Loose Women presenter Coleen Nolan claimed she has dumped a friend who refused to order a Chinese takeaway over coronavirus fears.

In a discussion about the virus, Coleen said the "scaremongering" was driving her mad.

The panel were asking whether they could survive with the items in their cupboards following medical advice for people with suspected coronavirus or flu-like symptoms to self-quarantine.

Colleen went on to say she had a friend who wouldn't order a Chinese takeaway at the weekend due to fears she may contract coronavirus.

The rest of the presenters looked silently at the presenter, with Andrea McLean remaining tight lipped.

Colleen then said: "She's no longer my friend and I had a lovely Chinese."

Viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the remarks.
