Coldplay have announced that they will be heading out on a world tour, with initial dates being released for the Dominican Republic, Mexico, U.S.A., Germany, Poland, France, Belgium and the U.K.
In a statement, the group said: “Playing live and finding connection with people is ultimately why we exist as a band. We’ve been planning this tour for years, and we’re super excited to play songs from across our whole time together.”
In 2017, the band paused their touring schedule over environmental concerns, with Chris Martin saying that they would not only tour in a way that was sustainable but beneficial to the environment.

Their new tour will have an eco-friendly focus and aims to reduce their carbon emissions by 50 per cent.
The band’s twelve-point plan will include a kinetic dancefloor, with the movement of the fans helping to power the concert.
Coldplay’s new album, Music Of The Spheres, has been released today (Friday, October 15).
Where are Coldplay touring in 2022?
The band have announced four U.K. shows so far – three nights in London and one in Glasgow.
Coldplay’s tour poster states “more dates to follow” although we have no information yet on where those will be.

How do I get Coldplay Tour 2022 tickets?
As of now, the only date officially on sale is the Rock in Rio Festival.
Coldplay’s other dates go on sale from October 21 and October 22, respectively, depending on location.
For their U.K. dates, the band offers first access to anyone who orders their new album, Music Of The Spheres.

Who is opening for Coldplay?
The tour poster lists two primary support acts so far – H.E.R. and London Grammar.
For the currently announced 2022 U.K. dates, H.E.R. will be opening on two London shows (August 12, 13) and the Glasgow show on August 23. London Grammar will open for Coldplay in London on August 16 2022.
