Coldplay at Wembley: What time will they perform and what is the setlist?

Coldplay’s tour has been a regular fixture at Wembley Stadium since the start of August, wowing fans with high-tech on-stage productions, glow-up wristbands, and timeless hits.

Bringing together Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, and Will Champion, the iconic group will take to the stage tonight for their final show in London in front of tens of thousands of excited fans.

While the closing gig was actually scheduled to take place on September 8, it was pushed to September 12 in order to avoid the recent tube strikes that have caused chaos for commuters around London.

When announcing the change of plans, the band confirmed that fans can use their existing tickets for the new dates, and any fans unable to attend the new dates will be entitled to a full refund.

So what can fans expect ahead of tonight's show? Here’s everything you need to know.

When will Coldplay go on stage at Wembley?

Tonight (September 12) marks Coldplay’s final performance at Wembley, and also the closing night of a three-year global tour from the band.

Doors open for the Wembley nights at 5pm, with support acts starting at 6pm and the band expected to take to the stage at around 8.15pm.

Judging from previous nights on tour, Coldplay should be wrapped up by 10.30pm, although it’s worth noting that these times can change according to circumstances on the night.

Full Coldplay setlist for Wembley

Most bands don’t release their setlist ahead of their performances, as that takes away part of the excitement. Having said that, we can take quite an educated guess at what songs Coldplay will perform based on their previous appearances.

This is the full setlist from their performance on August 31st, according to Setlist.fm; so you can expect something similar to this tonight.

However, as this is quite a special gig to mark the end of the tour, things might be subject to change too. What’s certain is that you can expect a spectacularly high-energy performance, and incredible optics as always.
