As temperatures in Lampang dropped, Toon Bodyslam's energy levels rose.
The rocker decided to skip a long afternoon break on Monday and begin the last stage of the day's charity run hours ahead of schedule.
Toon originally planned to arrive at the border of Thoen and Sob Prap districts of Lampang around 9pm on Monday, but was well on his way to reaching the day's final stop early, thanks to the friendly weather.
"Toon has started his fourth leg of the day in Thoen. He doesn't want a long break this afternoon because temperature is perfect for the run," one of his team members said on the official website.
The mercury in Thoen was around 24°C, according to the weather.com. The Meteorological Department forecast is for cool weather in the province throughout the week, with a high of 30°C and low of 13°C.
Earlier in the day, about 2,000 people lined Phahon Yothin Road to greet him as he entered the district town of Thoen around 8am.
Toon, whose real name is Artiwara Kongmalai, started the day in Mae Phrik district at 3am and planned to cover 54.40 kilometres on Monday.
The Bodyslam lead singer expects to end his charity fundraiser in Mae Sai district of Chiang Rai on Dec 25. He has about 330km to go to complete his 2,191km run from Betong district in Yala.
Donations for the 11 public hospitals he is supporting now exceed 866 million baht, according to the Kao Kon Lakao (everyone takes a step) website.
