Cold Feet's John Thomson has teased a return of The Fast Show - but with brand new characters.
The comic was part of a 25-year celebration of the catchphrase-filled sketch show last year.
But while the show's creators have been reluctant to make more of the series without the late Caroline Ahern, John teases: "They’ve got other things in mind using that cast.
"This is how it was left: they’ll use the core cast of the Fast Show but in different guises. That’s what’s being talked about."
Meanwhile, weight-conscious John says he put on weight during the lockdown and has managed to shift a few pounds thanks to a paleo diet and Nintendo's Ring Fit Adventure, where he battles monsters while toning his muscles.
"I want to get back to my fighting weight - I’m only half a stone overweight now, and I’m alright with that. That’s negotiable. I can get it off," he says.
John was eliminated from The Masked Singer where he was forced to strap ice packs to his wrists and neck inside the Bush Baby costume.
Producers told him his "unbearable" costume was the hottest of the whole bunch.
