Amazon have released the first three episodes of the eagerly-anticipated Tottenham documentary.
The series follows the ups and downs of the eventful 2019/20 campaign at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with behind the scenes access, giving fans an insight into what goes on behind closed doors.
The streaming service has been releasing teasers over the summer, with the documentary covering events such as the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino and the subsequent appointment of Jose Mourinho, long-term injuries to Harry Kane and Son Heung-min and the global Coronavirus pandemic that led to the suspension of fixtures for three months.
Another thing that also happened during the season is one that most Tottenham fans would want to forget, as Spurs fell to defeat to League Two side Colchester United in the Third Round of the Carabao Cup.
A 0-0 draw after 90 minutes meant that the tie went to a penalty shootout with Christian Eriksen and Lucas Moura’s missed spot-kicks seeing Tottenham crash out of the competition.
And the League Two side have used that result to troll Spurs amid the release of the documentary.
Taking to Twitter, the club wrote: “Hey @Primevideosport. Think you may have lost some footage of Tottenham’s season...We’ll be happy to send some over to you.”
The Tweet was accompanied by pictures of Tottenham missing their penalty kicks during the tie.
