Brendan Rodgers has praised Colby Donovan after he scored the winner for Celtic in a friendly against Cork City on Tuesday evening.
The teenager started the match at right-back, and although he was brought off at the break, when Stephen Welsh had to be withdrawn on 72 minutes through injury, Donovan came on to cover at centre-half.
He then nodded home the winner in the dying embers, powerfully connecting with Mitch Robertson's header back across goal.

"He's a boy who's very competitive, and I like him," Rodgers told CelticTV post-match.
"I can see the development from last year when he played. He's very aggressive, he passes forward. He'll become a bit less rash as his career moves forward.
"I like his personality and I like his dominance, and he can play football, which you have to be able to when you play for Celtic, and [it was] nice for him to get that winning goal."
Donovan has yet to make his competitive Celtic debut. He played 30 times for the club's B team last season across the Lowland League and UEFA Youth League.
