Chief Minister Andrew Barr says he's yet to see details of some of the proposed projects the federal government earmarked funding for on Monday.
Meanwhile, Opposition Leader Alistair Coe has promised to match funding for all of them.
Among the commitments was $88 million to build the Molonglo Bridge and $50 million for a package of road upgrades in Canberra's south-west.
It is expected to include the development of a corridor plan and upgrades to the Tuggeranong Parkway between the Glenloch Interchange and Cotter Road. It is also likely to include upgrades to feeder intersections and roads like Athlon Drive.
While Mr Barr said he would match the funding for the Molonglo Bridge, he needed more detail on other projects.
"The projects that have been announced, some have been in our forward infrastructure plan for a while, we've got match funding sitting there," he said.
"There are others where a little less detail has been forthcoming from the Commonwealth so we'd need to have those discussions about what exactly they have in mind.
"They seem at face value to be reasonable, mostly because they have drawn on lists and information we've provided and have drawn from the act government's forward infrastructure plan."
He welcomed the federal spending, but would need to see the government's full package to determine if the ACT was getting a fair deal.
Opposition Leader Alistair Coe said he would match the federal government's funding for every project.
"If we're elected in less than two weeks, we will get these projects under way as a top priority. We want to get things done to kickstart our economy and ensure everyone has the road infrastructure required to slash commutes," he said.
"This is a good investment for our economy, good for jobs, good for families and good for Canberra."
