Cody Simpson, 22, has wished his ‘baby’ Miley Cyrus , 27, a happy birthday on Instagram sending fans wild after break-up rumours circled the new couple.
The Australian singer last night posted a sweet video to his 3.8 million followers captioned: “Happy birthday baby. Thanks for being you.”
The video shows the pair giggling while Simpson lip-syncs a song with the lyrics, “I felt love.”
The post came as a surprise to fans of the couple, who have been dating since October, after split rumours plagued the pair in recent weeks .
It’s the first birthday the Tennessee singer is spending as a divorcee, after her infamous split from ex-husband Liam Hemsworth in August.
On Saturday, Simpson also shared a selfie of the two on his Instagram Story writing, “B’day angel.”
The pair is rumoured to have celebrated Miley’s birthday in her home state of Tennessee, where she purchased a home in 2017.
The couple were also snapped at dinner together while they celebrated the special occasion.

Miley’ spent her birthday sharing fan tributes and childhood photos on her own Instagram Stories on Saturday.
The singer’s family family posted their birthday blessings, as dad Billy Ray Cyrus wrote: “Happy birthday, Miley Cyrus!!! Love you so much.”
Miley’s sister Noah also took to Instagram to wish her a happy birthday, writing: “Happy birthday sissy!!! love you SO MUCH.”
