'Cocu clutching' - Nottingham Forest fans have their say on major decision in Derby draw

Nottingham Forest fans have been reacting to tonight's 1-1 draw with Derby County.

Lyle Taylor’s first goal in the Garibaldi ensured his side had something to show for their efforts in an improved second half on the banks of the Trent.

A frustrating first half saw the hosts left with work to do, after their rivals took the lead on the half hour.

A great diving save from Brice Samba had denied Graeme Shinnie from outside the box in the 27th minute, but the Reds stopper could do little about Martyn Waghorn’s well-struck free-kick shortly after.

Anthony Knockaert came on for his debut in the second half, and quickly made an impact.

From his corner, Taylor prodded home an equaliser with 64 minutes gone.

Derby had the ball in the net again heading towards the final 10 minutes, but Kamil Jozwiak fell foul of a very late offside flag as his effort was ruled out.

Here's what Forest supporters have been saying on Twitter after the final whistle:

Alan March: Wow, Cocu clutching at some imaginary straws trying to liken the our goal to their disallowed!?!?!?

Gary Donnelly: Knockaert looks the business. He was different gravy to everyone on that pitch when he came on. What a great signing

Garry Martin: Ryan Yates played out of his skin, again. Any of you part-time ballers ready to say sorry?

ReissNFFC: That offside goal, 4 players around Lawrence & he’s got a pass through so easy, really poor defending for both ‘goals’ from us

John Michael White: Memo to our good friends and neighbours from Derby. Ducks, if your fella has to skip to stop himself touching the ball then he's probably in the line of sight of the keeper.

Danny Stewart: Even the most one eyed Derby fan can’t think that ‘goal’ should’ve stood. Waghorn has virtually stepped over it, never mind the line of sight. 1-1 fair result, them lot better than expected, our lot as patchy as we have been for months.
