Cocktails and crime at 1930s-themed murder mystery set in a speakeasy

Super sleuthing won't get more glamorous than trying to guess whodunnit? at this one-off 1930s-themed cocktails and crime murder mystery night set in a speakeasy.

Dust off your flat cap and get out your feather boa as fancy dress is actively encouraged for the pop-up event on Saturday, June 15 at the National Justice Museum, in High Pavement.

Set in 1932, the night follows the leader of the notorious gang Mors Sabuleum as he hosts a party to celebrate a successful year of boot-legging and gambling. However, things don’t go to plan and soon there’s more than wine being spilt as unexpected guests slip into the speakeasy.

Tickets are £21.95 each and includes a free cocktail on arrival to get detectives in the mood for walking the museum and interrogating a host of subjects in order to collar the criminal.

A full bar will be available throughout the evening which starts at 7pm and finishes at around 9.30pm.

Tickets are available from nationaljusticemuseum.org.uk. The event is suitable for age 18 and over only.
