Cocktail bar Tonight Josephine announces Liverpool launch date

A new aesthetic cocktail venue opens in Liverpool city centre this autumn.

Famed for its bottomless brunches and bold pink interiors, Tonight Josephine is set to open on Hanover Street on October 21. The bar is already a hit with customers in London, Cardiff and Birmingham and has amassed fans due to its extravagant events and extensive cocktail menu.

Tonight Josephine Liverpool will cover almost 8,000 sq ft of space, split across a ground floor entrance, basement and lower basement. With a capacity of up to 400 people, the bar is set to be the biggest of the brand's UK venues.

Named after Napoleon's wife Joséphine de Beauharnais, Tonight Josephine adopts the mantra "well-behaved women don't make history" and encourages guests to dance at their tables whilst singing their hearts out. The bar chain is popular with Instagram lovers and the new Liverpool venue will feature plenty of the pink decor seen in the brand's other bars, along with lashings of bright green and wild-west inspired features. Live DJ's will feature at the venue, along with a range of themed events.

Tonight Josephine Liverpool is already welcoming bookings ahead of the launch. Those who sign up to join Josephine’s Bande de Filles before the opening are in with the chance to join the launch party celebrations, with invites to the VIP launch party or first bottomless brunch up for grabs.

Tonight Josephine is part of the Adventure Bar Group. The group's founder, Tom Kidd, said: "With the success of the Tonight Josephine brand already in London and Birmingham, we are thrilled to be bringing it to Hanover Street. Liverpool is such an incredible city and known for its party antics. We think it's the perfect location for Josephine's first foray into the North."
