A man has had a live cockroach removed from his ears after complaining of unbearable pain.
Medical experts in Vietnam made several attempts to get rid of the roach before resorting to flushing it out using salt water.
Stomach-churning video shows the cockroach scuttling around the man's ear canal while moving its antennae.
It refuses to come out despite the doctor's effort of using a thin metal rod.
The man visited a clinic in Bar Giant province in Vietnam and asked for medical help after claiming there was an insect inside his ear, reports Daily Mail.
The doctor found a cut inside the patient's ear, which is said to be the cause of the cockroach running around continuously.
The doctor decided to flush the insect out by salt water.
Insects such as cockroaches and flies are attracted to human ears due to the smell of earwax and it normally happens during the night when a person is asleep.
It could also fly into their ear when they are spending time outdoors.
According to Medical News Today, a live insect might cause odd sensations in the ear if it crawls or buzzes in the ear canal.
The symptoms include swelling, bleeding, hearing loss or even pus draining from the ear.
