Coca-Cola Christmas truck tour announced - see where it will go in Scotland

You know Christmas is coming when that big red truck rumbles into town....but East Kilbride folk will have a little further to travel despite the drinks giant having a base in the town for more than 50 years.

Coca-Cola have announced their tour dates but the only stop-off in Scotland will be in Edinburgh on Friday and Saturday, November 15 and 16.

East Kilbride residents will have to wrap-up and head to the capital's Newcraighall Road between 12pm and 7pm if they want to join in the fun.

The truck will be a glittering winter wonderland setting with festive photo moments – and a 150ml Coca-Cola zero sugar to help you get in the Christmas spirit.

This year, to raise funds and awareness for the great work done by Crisis – which is now in its 52 year –  the company is pledging to donate 10p in exchange for every can placed in our recycling bins throughout the truck tour.

So, when you visit your nearest stop and dispose of your can the right way, you’re helping two amazing causes.

Supporting homeless people across the UK and The Coca-Cola Company’s global World Without Waste pledge - to collect and recycle a bottle or can for everyone sold.

The tour will visit 19 locations and ends on Sunday, December 15 in the O2 Arena in London.
