Coca-Cola Christmas truck IS coming to Manchester as part of festive tour

The Coca-Cola Christmas truck is coming to Manchester it's finally been revealed.

Unlike previous years when a full schedule of stops has been announced in advance, the company is this year drip-feeding its locations, confirming stops just a few days before its planned arrival.

We revealed earlier this week how Glasgow was announced as the first stop on the tour. Since then, Newcastle, Leeds, Castleford and Sheffield have all been added.

Well now the drinks giant has finally confirmed that it will be coming to Manchester - stopping at The Trafford Centre from December 3 to 5.

It will be there from 11am until 8pm across all three days.

The news will be welcomed by many, particularly as last year's tour had to be cancelled due to the pandemic.

The last time the truck came to Manchester was back in 2019, when it stopped off at both Asda Eastlands and The Trafford Centre.

The Coca-Cola truck first appeared on screen in November 1995 and has since become a familiar fixture in festive TV schedules across more than 100 different countries.

The classic advert shows a procession of twinkly trucks snaking their way through a snowy landscape, lighting up Christmas trees and houses as they pass while children watch in wonder.
