Coca-Cola announces first location and dates for 2021 Christmas truck tour

For many, the sight of the Coca-Cola Christmas truck symbolises the true start of Christmas.

It means, of course, that the holidays are coming, with Christmas just around the corner.

And after it was cancelled in 2020 due to coronavirus, the soft drink giant has now announced its Christmas truck tour will be going ahead this year.

The first stop on the our will be at Silverburn shopping centre in Glasgow which takes place on November 24 and 25.

But is it coming to Nottingham? Unfortunately there is no definitive answer yet.

That is because all future locations will be revealed at a later date - meaning no-one knows what the next stop after Scotland will be for the famous truck.

An announcement on the Coca-Cola website says: "Here at Coca‑Cola, we know more than just about anyone that the Christmas Countdown officially starts with the very first sighting of the Coca‑Cola Christmas Truck – something that has become a tradition ever since it first appeared in Coca‑Cola’s famous ‘Holidays Are Coming’ advert.

"This year, we’re planning to stop off at as many cities around the UK as possible – but we don’t want to spoil the surprise just yet.

"We’ll be revealing which cities we’ll be rolling into over the next few weeks, so keep your eyes on our social media or website for all the details.

"So come back often to find out when the Coca‑Cola Christmas Truck Tour 2021 will be rolling into your town."
