Coatbridge roads to close to motorists for repairs

A pair of Coatbridge roads will be closed to motorists within the next few weeks.

The town's Woodside Street will shut for five days from Monday, June 28, between the A89 Bank Street and Allan Street.

This is for carriageway resurfacing work and the B753 Dundyvan Road, the A725 Whifflet Street, School Street, the A89 Bank Street and Old Monkland Road will be available as diversions.

Ballochmyle Wynd is closing from 6am to 6pm on Tuesday, July 6, to allow for ironwork repairs.

Motorists are advised there won’t be any alternative routes in place, while pedestrian access will be “maintained where practical”.
