Mondo in Coatbridge has been named as one of Scotland’s top 100 restaurants in a top public vote.
The Main Street eatery was among those honoured at the new Scottish restaurant awards, highlighting establishments nominated by customers in a “celebration of the best restaurants that provide incredible food and service”.
Staff received a certificate marking the achievement; with Airdrie eatery Harty’s at the Fourways and the Crown Jewel of Coatbridge also being nominated for the awards which were held in Glasgow.

A spokesperson for organisers Creative Oceanic said: “The awards reflect the excellent food experience, ambience, quality and variety of choices that the restaurants in Scotland have to offer.
“We would like to congratulate all those in the top 100 list for their amazing achievements.”
