Coatbridge author pens follow-up psychological drama novel

A COATBRIDGE author is enjoying the latest exciting chapter to his career with the release of his new novel.

Owen Mullen’s psychological drama Deadly Harm is on sale now – and being displayed in Airdrie and Coatbridge libraries.

The book is a follow-up to last year’s critical hit In Harm’s Way, which reached number one in the national crime fiction chart.

Owen told the Airdrie & Coatbridge Advertiser: “Deadly Harm picks up the story from its predecessor five years later.

“I am delighted with the final outcome and can’t wait for people to read it.

“In Harm’s Way was number one in the Scottish crime fiction chart, so I’m hoping Deadly Harm can do as well.

“Deadly Harm and all of my books are available from Airdrie and Coatbridge libraries, both of which have been very supportive and currently have a local author display of my books.”

Owen has also signed an audio deal for In Harm’s Way and Deadly Harm, adding: “This is great news as so many people enjoy listening to books.

“It will allow me to expand my readership even further, through an audio medium.”

The current book series is a departure from Owen’s private investigator Charlie Cameron crime novels Owen with the writer, who splits his time between his Kirkshaws home and a Greek villa, pleased to continue his prolific output.

Owen said: “I’ve written 13 books in all and I still get a great thrill when I see the work get released into the public eye.”

Deadly Harm is available from Amazon and all good book stores.
