
BEACH WATCH
Swell is on a downward trend and offshore winds again for the morning. Surf conditions to be clean with the tide going low for the early and should suit the banks and one or two shorebreaks. Swell from the SSE at 1.5m decreasing to 1m. Wind light to moderate N/W to West tending S/W. Better breaks first up will be off South Bar, Cliff and Pogos. Rip bank at Merewether and also off the rocks for a few rights. Try Flatrock on the high tide. Dudley, Redhead and Catho to the south. Samurai and One Mile up at Port Stephens. Erosion at One Mile, Stockton and Merewether and swim at the open patrolled beaches. Water temperature 16 degrees. - Dave Anderson
