How good is Coastal Carolina? It managed to get by Kansas 12-7, and a few days later, the Jayhawks went off and blew the doors off of Boston College.
The Chanticleers should have their hands full with a Norfolk State team that’s amazing at taking the ball away – forcing eight turnovers so far – to go along with a highly efficient passing game. The Spartans should be able to attack a shaky Chanticleer backfield that’s struggling to set up easy third down conversion attempts.
Coastal Carolina knows how to control the clock and it’s got the defense and linebackers to keep the Spartans from getting anything on the ground. Can the CCU D handle the NSU passing game? It’ll do it just enough to get past a -3 day full of turnovers that keep this much closer than it should be.
