The spokesman of the Coalition for the Support of Legitimacy in Yemen, Colonel Turki al-Maliki, said that the Coalition Forces managed to intercept and down a drone launched by Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia from Sanaa towards Jazan.

Colonel al-Maliki said that the Houthi terrorist criminal tool continues to launch drones to carry out hostile and terrorist acts by targeting civilians and civilian installations, and that none of their targets have been achieved.

"They have been destroyed and shot down. We affirm the continued implementation of deterrent measures against these terrorist militias and the neutralization of Houthi capabilities with all rigor and in accordance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules, he said," the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

Meanwhile, the coalition forces also destroyed vehicles belonging to the Houthi militia in its stronghold of Saada province.

According to SPA, Yemeni military sources said that the Coalition bombed various Houthi sites in the Directorate of Kataf, east of Saada, in addition to another location of the militia in the area of Al-Fahlaween, adjacent to the center of the Kataf district, resulting in the destruction of artillery and the death of a number of elements of the terrorists.
