Sandro Tonali has previously been linked with Liverpool and Manchester United - and his coach says the player's talent 'has no limit'.
Brescia midfielder Tonali has drawn comparisons with Italy legend Andrea Pirlo, and is reportedly wanted by Inter Milan, Juventus and Barcelona.
The 20-year-old midfielder has impressed for Serie A's bottom side this season, and is expected to move to a bigger club this summer.
Earlier in the season, speculation suggested his destination could be Anfield or Old Trafford - although that appears doubtful given both clubs are reining in their spending amid the coronavirus crisis.
His manager Diego Lopez reckons Tonali would thrive at any of the world's top clubs, with Inter, Juve and Barca leading for the race for his signature, according to Mail Online.
"There's a lot of talk about him, and rightly so, but he's just a young lad who is in love with the ball," the Uruguayan coach told Corriere della Sera as reported by Football Italia.
"I can't give him advice on what to do off the pitch. As a player, I'd say he can still improve.
"He has it all, but he can get even better. He has no limits."
Tonali has played mostly as a defensive midfielder for Brescia this season - although he can play further forward and has chipped in with five assists.
And Lopez compared him to former Belgium international Radja Nainggolan, who starred for Roma and AC Milan before joining Cagliari on loan from the San Siro side.
Lopez added: "I really like him in front of the defence. I see him versatile like [Radja] Nainggolan in the middle of the field."
Tonali himself his declared his ambition to be one of the best players in the world, although he played down comparisons with former AC Milan and Juventus playmaker Pirlo.
"No, I'm not his heir," Tonali told SpoCocahrtsweek. "To begin with, I don't have his long, millimetre precise through balls. And I do envy him."
He added: "I know that with the right sacrifices, I can reach the top of the world.
"I haven't achieved half of what I have in mind, but I feel good enough to make it."
