Coach K showed up to watch LeBron James, Jr. play this weekend

Even before the Los Angeles Lakers were mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, LeBron James wasn’t shy about sharing his excitement to hit the road with his sons, LeBron James, Jr. and Bryce Maximus, on the spring and summer basketball circuit.

James has become a fixture on the youth basketball scene and he followed his oldest son, called Bronny, Jr., to his first Nike EYBL event this weekend in Atlanta. Not only did LeBron make the trip to support his son, LeBron’s former coach on the USA Basketball Men’s National Team, Mike Krzyzewski, also made an appearance to watch Bronny play.

It’s been reported by ESPN’s Dave McMenamin that James, Jr. already has offers from Duke and Kentucky even though he hasn’t played a minute of high school basketball.

This will likely be the first of many appearances by top college coaches as they hope to recruit LeBron’s oldest. Even former Ohio State Buckeye and current Portland Trail Blazer Evan Turner is trying to stake his school’s claim to Bronny, Jr.
