Co-op has recalled two products over concerns they contain pieces of glass.
The supermarket is recalling their Irresistible Carrot Cake and Irresistible Coffee and Walnut Cake due to the possible presence of glass, making the products unsafe to eat.
Customers who bought either of the products are advised to return them to the store they were bought from where they will receive a full refund.
A statement from the Food Standards Agency reads: "Co-op is recalling the above products. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling these products. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tells them what to do if they have bought the products."
It continues: "If you have bought the above products do not eat them. Instead, return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund. If you are shielding or otherwise unable to return the product to store, please contact the customer careline on 0800 0686727 or email customer.careline@coop.co.uk"
