Co-op is launching a very special new sweet treat Valentine's Day...
From the 1st February the supermarket chain will be selling rose cone ice creams - combining two popular items for the month of love - ice cream and roses.
The packs, which will be sold in stores nationwide and online at coop.co.uk, feature strawberry ice cream cones shaped roses, synonymous with romance. They're (almost) too pretty to eat.
Sold in packs (or bunches) of four for £2, the ice cream dessert has a fruity and sweet strawberries and cream flavour, topped off with delicious strawberry sauce, served up in a vibrant green wafer cone.
Sure to make your sweet-toothed Valentine very happy come 14 February.
Speaking about the launch - a first for any UK food retailer, Gemma Gray, Co-op Ice Cream Product Developer, said: “We’ve taken inspiration from the Insta-famous gelato parlours across the globe and put our own Co-op spin on the frozen treat.
"Over the past 12 months we’ve worked really hard to perfect the delicate ice cream petals on our Strawberry Rose Cones, making sure we were creating a product that not only looks camera-ready, but also tastes delicious. The cones are the perfect way to share a bit of love this Valentine’s Day, whether that’s with a partner or friends!”
But Co-op isn't the only place offering a spin on traditional Valentine's Day gifts.
Shoppers after a unique items for their beau can now pick up .
The 'bunches', which are sold at Amazon, Funky Hampers and Celebrate Gifts, feature a collection of sweet smelling Yankee Candle miniatures, along with a selection of chocolates from either Lindt, Forerro Rocher, Cadbury or Galaxy.
