Co-op launch amazing value pizza and beer meal deal bundle that will save you £5.60

Co-op supermarket is offering customers a fantastic value meal deal - and it only costs a fiver.

The bundle of two fresh thin and crispy pizzas and a four-pack of Budweiser beers is perfect for feeding family and friends when you don't feel like cooking. Or ideal for cash-strapped students looking for cheap meal options to enjoy with their mates.

The offer is running until 6 August in stores, so there is plenty of time to stock up, and shoppers can also swap out the beer in favour of non-alcoholic Coca Cola or other Coke drink options instead if they prefer.

Buying all the items in the promotion will save customers £5.60 off the normal £10.60 price tag of purchasing everything individually - effectively halving the total price of the shop.

A savvy shopper originally posted the great value offer on deals sharing site Hotukdeals.com , which was quickly top-rated by other shoppers due to the incredible savings.

The original poster wrote: "Starts the 10.07.19. Two thin and crispy pizzas and a 4 pack of Budweiser (diet coke or coke 4 pack bottles if you don't want bud) for £5. Membership card gets you 5% back on pizza. Nus holders get a extra 10% off."

Another member of the site added that the deal is also available elsewhere by posting the message, "Can also pick this deal up in your local Nisa or Costcutter Store, not just in Co-op Stores. Great Deal, Heat added."

Co-op isn't the only chain offering cheap meal deal options this week. Iceland has also slashed the price of Goodfellas oven pizzas to 89p each - a saving of £1.11 - as part of its seven day deal. When you throw in a similar four pack of Budweiser beers for £4, the bundle works out slightly more expensive than Co-op at £5.78.

Either option will still be far cheaper than opting for a takeaway, however we have spied a way to wangle a free £15 spend at Just Eat if you're tempted.
