Co-op launch £10 Prosecco and Lindt ball chocolates deal for Mother's Day

Despite our mother's protests that she really doesn't need anything this year, it's always nice to hand over a bottle of fizz and some chocolates for the woman that made you who you are.

So just in time for Mother's Day, the Co-op are launching a one-off combo deal on bottles of Prosecco and everyone's favourite Lindor chocolate balls.

For a grand total of £10, you can get a bottle of Co-ops special edition Prosecco, as well as a 200g box of Lindt's melt-in-the-mouth Lindor chocolate balls.

Set to launch in stores tomorrow (20 March), if bought separately, the Prosecco would usually set you back £8, and the Lindt Lindor chocolate box £4, meaning you'll save £2 by buying them together.

However, while Co-op may be the most convenient place to bag the bargain, if you live near an Asda or are doing an online order anytime soon, you can save yourself 50p by buying exactly the same combination.

Asda have the 200g boxes of Lindt chocolate balls for £3.50 right now, as well as an array of 75cl bottles of Prosecco for £6 each, including their Canti Prosecco (£6, was £10), Shield Prosecco (£6, was £8) and also a Rose Cava (£6, was £7.25).

Pringles now being made with rice rather than potatoes - for a very good reason

That means you can bag a bottle of fizz, plus the pack of Lindt balls for the princely sum of £9.50 - 50p less than at the Co-op.

If you do want the convenience of the Co-op, it's worth noting that you'll need to purchase both items in one single transaction to get the deal.

Whether you want to get her just a little something, need to find somewhere to stop on the way after forgetting a gift, or just fancy a cheap-ish Friday night feast, Co-op clearly knows the way to our hearts...
