Co-founder of ‘Women for Trump’ miserable at ‘outrageous’ grocery prices, says ‘something has gotta give’

Cognitive dissonance can be a truly crazy thing. While an increasing number of Trump voters have no choice but to admit that their lives have gotten dramatically worse since January, some still cling to outright delusions and ignore what’s staring them right in the face.

Enter ‘Women for Trump’ co-founder Amy Kremer. She’s about as big a MAGA cheerleader as you can get, but recently reported back from a depressing trip to the grocery store:

“The cost of living is out of control. If you don’t grocery shop you need to go to the grocery store & see for yourself. The prices are outrageous & continue to climb. I don’t know how ppl are living. Families are struggling & can’t afford to eat. Our elderly are hurting & too prideful to say anything. Something has gotta give.”

Dang, that’s a pretty strong criticism of Trump for someone so MAGA. Oh well, I guess even she can’t deny the objective fact that things are more expensive than ever. Oh, wait, she totally can. Like a malfunctioning robot crackling *DOES NOT COMPUTE*, she returned to clarify that, of course none of this is Dear Leader Trump’s fault and you’re an idiot if you think so.

Our glorious leader MUST not be blamed

The real culprit? Why, it’s that sneaky Joe Biden, still manipulating the economy after nine months out of office!

Uh-huh, sure Amy. You would think there’d be a point where even the most smooth-brained MAGA disciple will look at the collapsing world around them and cratering economy and conclude that maybe Donald Trump isn’t actually making America great again.

But that would require just a smidge of self-awareness, so even as prices continue to skyrocket, tariffs close businesses, and the nation heads into official recession, the fritzing automaton like Kremer will remain locked into their programming that, somehow, this is all Joe Biden’s fault.
