A Co Down road has been closed after a serious crash involving three vehicles.
The Holywood Road, in the Craigantlet hills outside Newtownards, has been shut in both directions following the collision.
It is understood the incident took place on the road close to the entrance to McKees Farm shop.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
A PSNI spokeswoman said: "The Holywood Road in Ards has been closed in both directions following a serious three vehicle road traffic collision. Local diversions are in place however police would advise motorists to seek alternative routes. There are no further details at present."
