Christmas is fast approaching and during the mayhem of festivities don't forget to treat your puppies this year to a Santa visit.
Castle Ward, just outside Strangford village, is hosting a special event this December for dogs to go on a friendly festive trail and get a present from Santa Clause himself during the meet and greet option.
The 'Santa Paws' weekend will take place on Saturday 7 December and Sunday 8 December starting at the Trailhead Cafe, from 12-4 on both days - and there's no need to book a slot, just arrive on the day.
A spokesperson for Castle Ward said: "Take your dog for a walk on the dog-friendly trail, and make a special visit to Santa.
"Pups will get a gift from the man himself. Well dressed dogs are very welcome, there may even be an extra special gift for those who come suited and booted."
Fancy dress is encouraged but not essential and humans go free with a charge of £5 per dog admission.
