Co Down glamping pod holiday complex being considered by ABC Council

Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council’s planners are considering a planning application that if approved will bring three glamping pods to the outskirts of Dromore.

Lodged by agent Bannvale Architectural Services on behalf of applicant Mr Kirker McMurray, the application seeks permission to erect three glamping pods and car parking provision at lands 155m north east of 40 Scolban Road, Dromore.

The application form notes the 0.2 hectare site is currently in use as an agricultural field and explains that any surface collected as a result of this development will be disposed of via soakaways.

Any foul sewage that is generated by the site will be disposed of via a septic tank.

Received and validated on Friday, December 10, the neighbour consultation period will close on Monday, February 28 with the standard consultation period due to expire on Friday, March 4.

The application will be advertised until Friday, March 4.
