Police are appealing for information after a crash which claimed the life of a 17-year-old girl.
The incident is reported to have happened around 1pm today on Coolmillish Road, Markethill.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "A 17-year-old girl has sadly died in a single vehicle collision which took place on the Coolmillish Road, Markethill shortly before 1pm.
"Officers investigating the collision are appealing for witnesses to please make contact via 101, quoting ref 833 24/09/20."
They later added: "Police can confirm that a 17 year old girl sadly died in a single vehicle collision on the Coolmillish Road, Markethill earlier today.
"The collision involving a blue Ford Fiesta was reported to police shortly before 1pm.
"Officers investigating the collision are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have recorded dash-cam footage in the area to please make contact by calling 101, quoting reference 833 24/09/20."
