Paddy McLaughlin insists Cliftonville will "park" the Co Antrim Shield until the final comes around on January 21.
The Reds booked their place in the Shield decider with a 1-0 win over Glentoran on Wednesday night .
They will meet Ballymena United in the final after the Sky Blues claimed a 4-0 win over Harland and Wolff Welders in the other semi-final.
"We are delighted to be in the final. I am delighted for the players because they have shown me so much dedication since I came in," McLaughlin said.
"I am also delighted for the fans who deserve to be watching their team challenging for trophies.
"This is reward for everyone's hard work.
"The final isn't until January 21 so we will park it until then. There are a lot of points to be won in the Premiership between now and then.
"So it is back to the bread and butter this Saturday."
Cliftonville jumped to the top of the Irish Premiership with last Saturday's win over Ballymena United, and Coleraine's shock defeat to Warrenpoint Town.
They will be hoping to cement their position at the summit when they travel to Larne tomorrow.
"All we have done is put ourselves amongst the front runners. Nothing more," McLaughlin said.
"We are delighted to be in the mix but a lot will happen from now to the end of the season."
