Co Antrim road closed in both directions following serious RTC

A number of roads have been closed this morning following a two-vehicle RTC.

Significant delays are expected and motorists should avoid the area, police say.

The Ballyutoad Road is closed in both directions and the Belfast Road, Nutts Corner has been closed at its junctions with the Carnaghliss Road and the Seven Mile Straight.

The Carn Road is closed with its junctions at the Seven Mile Straight and Ballyhill Road.

Police say commuter should avoid the area if at all possible.

A spokesperson said: "Motorists are advised to expect disruption and delays due to a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the Ballyutoag Road, Nutts Corner, Antrim

"Please avoid the area."
