Co Antrim crash leaves man in hospital

A man has been taken to hospital for treatment following a crash in the Lisburn area of Co Antrim.

Police said the Crumlin Road, Upper Ballinderry has been closed following the incident this morning.

A PSNI spokesperson added: "The Crumlin Road, Ballinderry Upper area of Lisburn is currently closed following a one vehicle road traffic collision this morning (Saturday 11 July).

"One man has been taken to hospital for his injuries.

"The road is closed at the junction of Riverdale Road and the junction just outside Ballinderry Primary School following the incident

"Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative main routes for their journey."
