CNN's Anderson Cooper Mercilessly Roasts Tucker Carlson

If Warner Bros. Discovery's (WBD) CNN anchor Anderson Cooper is well-known for anything (other than his dashing silver fox good looks, of course), it's his calm yet direct way of speaking his mind.

On the evening of March 7 during Cooper's show "Anderson Cooper 360," the CNN host discussed the events of the Capitol Riot with former Metropolitan Police Officer Michael Fanone, focusing on his opinion of Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

"The idea of Tucker Carlson being in that mob that day and not wetting his pants is hard to imagine," Cooper said. "I find it hard to understand somebody who has never put himself in harm's way in any capacity for anyone else, or in reporting a story, yet has the audacity to rewrite history. That’s what this is, it is an attempt to rewrite history in what is certainly one of the biggest events in American democracy.”

Carlson has faced an uproar of criticism for new video of the Capitol Riots that he shared on air March. 5, choosing to downplay the violence that took place in favor of leveling accusations at the Jan. 6 elect committee of lying about what happened.

Twitter was quick to take Carlson to task as well.
