CNN.com tries to woo young with vodcasts

From today CNN.com is offering a range of video podcasts overtly aimed at "news-averse" people, which means the young of course. Two vodcasts will be produced daily, using repackaged news material, but the company is expecting to attract a new audience through a weekly show, The Grist, which will evidently feature a mixture of satire and "weird and wacky video clips." Though the vodcasts will not carry ads initially, that's the intention down the line. (Via mediaweek.com)
