KOTA: As a Diwali gift for the people of Kota, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will virtually launch 20 development projects worth Rs 700 crore along with state UDH minister and Kota – North MLA Shanti Dhariwal and district minister in-charge Prasadilal Meena from CMR on Friday morning.
A documentary on developmental works in Kota will also be screened during the programme.
Live telecast of the virtual launching program would be displayed at UIT auditorium as well as on LED screens at 13 points of the city at 11.30 am on Friday when Congress workers and locals are set to celebrate Diwali bounties worth crores.
However, BJP leader Phralas Gunjal criticised the launching of projects saying that they are yet to be completed. Among the projects, four over-bridges and three underpasses and roads are set to make the city free of traffic lights, said officials.
