Clydeside Expressway crash sees offslip to Kingston Bridge M8 closed

A crash on the Clydeside Expressway in Glasgow has led to the closure of a key offslip road to the Kingston Bridge.

Glasgow City Council's Traffic Control and Management (TRAFFCOM) team advised at 3.06pm (Tuesday): "Due to an RTC the A814 Clydeside Expressway High Loop to M8 westbound / Kingston Bridge is closed.

"Drivers are advised to use an alternate route."

Meanwhile, Traffic Scotland advised traffic is queueing back to the SEC Exhibition Centre.

They Tweeted, at "14:50 #A814 Clydeside Expressway eastbound - the offslip to the #M8 westbound is CLOSED due to an RTC Traffic queuing back to the SECC Exhibition Centre."

UPDATE 4.55pm: TRAFFCOM have advised the road is now open once more.
