Clydebank disturbance sees cops arrest eight at property

Eight people have been arrested after a disturbance at a property in Clydebank .

Police attended the incident in Pattison Street, near to Dalmuir train station in the West Dunbartonshire town at around 2pm on Saturday, June 22.

Three women aged 20, 20 and 22 as well as five men aged 25, 26, 27, 29 and 30 were arrested following their alleged involvement in the incident.

A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

West Dunbartonshire Community Policing Inspector Mo Boyle said: "We are working closely with communities and partners to take direct action on issues of local concern across West Dunbartonshire.

"This has resulted in positive feedback from the public and a number of people being reported to the Procurator Fiscal for anti-social behaviour related offences.

“Local residents deserve to live their lives free from the fear of crime and antisocial behaviour and we will continue to do everything we can to prevent incidents of crime and disorder."
