Clydebank crash Faifley Road: Police at scene as car overturns following smash

Police are at the scene of a serious crash in Clydebank after a collision between two cars.

Emergency services were called to the incident on Faifley Road at around noon amid reports of one of the cars overturning.

There are no confirmed injuries at this stage, however eyewitnesses are warning others to avoid the area following the 'bad accident'.

Traffic in the area is being diverted including local bus services.

A Police Scotland spokesperson advised Glasgow Live: “We received a report of a crash involving two cars on Faifley Road, Clydebank, around noon on Saturday, 31 July.

“Officers are currently in attendance.”

UPDATE: Thankfully, police have now advised there were no serious injuries and the road has now reopened.
