Set up by Ashley Murray, the 'In memory of Lexi' fundraiser reads: "There is no easy way of putting this into words but it’s safe to say everyone in our Clydebank community and anyone who has read the heartbreaking news of the one year old baby girl who has passed after a horrific accident.

"I don’t know the family personally but I live 5 minutes away from their home and as a mother I can’t even begin to imagine the suffering and grief this baby girls mother and family are going through.

"I would like to raise some money to give to the mother to help her in any way she needs. Thank you."

Lexi's mum Maureen has been made aware of the page .

So far over £600 has been raised for the family - with the goal set at £1000.
