Clyde sign former Alloa Athletic goalkeeper Neil Parry on a two-year contract

Clyde have completed the signing of Neil Parry on a two-year deal.

The 35-year-old left Alloa Athletic yesterday but Bully Wee boss Danny Lennon has moved quickly to snap up the experienced goalkeeper.

Parry will be expected to compete with David Mitchell, who is attracting interest from Hibernian.

The East Kilbride man started his professional career at Queen's Park in 2011 before enjoying spells at Lanarkshire sides Albion Rovers and Airdrie.

Parry moved to Alloa in 2017 and he quickly developed into a fans' favourite after a string of impressive performances which led him to be named in PFA League 1 team of the year for consecutive seasons between 2016-2018.
