Clyde Frazier rips LeBron for not being ‘part of the team’ during Lakers huddle

At this point, the Lakers have all but given up on their 2018-19 season, and that appears to include LeBron James.

During Sunday’s game against the Knicks, MSG Knicks analyst and Hall of Famer Clyde Frazier was asked about LeBron’s sneakers. That bit of shoe commentary led to Frazier going off on LeBron’s demeanor as the Lakers star sat at the end of the bench instead of participating in the huddle.

Frazier pointed out that LeBron wasn’t acting like he was a part of the team as they were coming out of a timeout.

Frazier said:

“This type of behavior is not — when you’re the face of the NBA, I think you should be more a part of your team. No matter what is going on. In the public, you gotta be a part of the team. In the locker room, you’re not. But you have to exude that type of togetherness in public. And right now, we see that he doesn’t really care.”

Frazier went on to say that the team’s overall apathetic demeanor was why Luke Walton was expected to be gone as Lakers coach at the end of the season.

It wasn’t a great look for LeBron who so clearly can’t wait for this frustrating season to be over.
