Clyde announce the loan signing of Jack Thomson from Rangers

Clyde have completed the loan singing of Jack Thomson from Rangers until the end of the season.

The 20 year-old midfielder will join fellow Ibrox teammates Cammy Palmer and Matthew Shields at the League One club.

The Bully Wee's Scottish Cup clash this weekend against Keith has been postponed and rearranged until Tuesday night but Thomson should be available.

Clyde boss Danny Lennon (Craig Foy/SNS Group)

Danny Lennon was delighted to add the talented midfielder to his ranks, adding: " "We're delighted to be able to bring in a player of Jack's calibre to the club.

It's another chance for us to build our relationship with Rangers and we're grateful to them for giving us the opportunity to work with Jack.

"We saw Jack close up in our recent Glasgow Cup tie and we were very impressed. He's keen to come to Clyde, be involved and get games under belt. I feel that he'll add to our midfield area with the attributes he has."
